Tarkus series has a fascinating design and the word mysterious perfectly describes the sound. A true jewel of tradition and innovation, a unique hybrid of its kind divided into three parts: The lathed and hammered bell is powerful, precise, particularly bright, in stark contrast to the extra dark, extra dry sound of the central part of the cymbal which in this area has a very cold, firm and defined ping. It becomes open and crashable in the third part characterized by a comfortable softness. The sustain is medium short with a strong presence of dark tones.
